Sarah's untimely and accidental death was a blow to all with whom she was friends.  Her passing was a blow to us all, and for many of us, the first experience with a life too young ending.  Looking back over the years, I feel an exponential empathy for her parents, for whom the loss of their daughter must have been one of their most traumatic experiences.  It'scomforting to think we remember our classmates for how they touched our lives.

Sara's passing was one of the saddest times in my life and one of those memories that sticks with you forever.  I remember every detail like it was yesterday.  So young, so long ago and so very tragic.  I'll bet she is one of the prettiest angels in heaven.

I also remember Sara as she always sat just in front of me because our names were close in alphabetical order. It was one of my first experiences losing a peer and it taught me the preciousness of life.God may of felt Sara  was needed as an angel for the rest of us.

Sara, You were such a good person whose life ended so early. My only regret is that we didn't have a chance to continue our friendship.

May God Bless You and your Family forever!

I remember Sara, very fondly, from very early in elementary school.   The service at the church is forever etched in my memory. She enriched the lives of those hers touched.

I grew up with Sara. We were neighbors. What a great artist. She could have lived her life with her  art alone. I leanrned so much from her in her short life....What an inspiration she was. Quiet, serene yet so full of life. God must have something better for her.....

I was so sad when she passed away. The funeral is embedded in my mind. A friend missed still today..

God Bless you Sarah................

I often think of Sara, especially when I'm back home and driving down French Road past her house. I can't believe she's gone. It was hard to accept then, and equally as difficut now. I remember Sara as being bright and beautiful. She was tall with long blonde hair, and I remember her skinny legs and how she ran like a gazelle! I don't remember why I remember her running, but it's something that stuck with me. She was so smart, and an angel even then. I was visiting my mother in Rochester recently, and thought of her once again, some 40 years after she died.  She had such a bright future ahead of her, and it was and remains a tragic loss.
