While at my first company buyers conference in 1974, I met Jerry Lewis at the Sheraton in NYC.

Unrelated aside, the conference was for a national wholesale food company that did a lot of importing. One meeting was held offsite at the new Port Authority office to review import procedures. When the meeting ended, they took us upstairs for lunch to the newly opened restaurant at the top of the building. Great view. It was one of the World Trade Center towers.
