Martha "Marti" D'Ambruso Meehan passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2025 with her family by her side at the age of 70. Marti is predeceased by her parents, Vito and Margaret D'Ambruso; and her brother, Mark D'Ambruso. She is survived by her partner of 35 years, John Mirabella; daughters, Jennifer (Steve) Smith and Amy Allen; grandchildren, Michael and Grace Allen, and Gage Guillod; sister, Carol (Tracy) Hyde; various nieces and nephews.
Marti was a 40 year retiree of WXXI where she was a television engineer. She was a very social person who had a passion and knowledge of automobiles. You could find her at a classic car show.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Profetta Funeral Chapel, 1650 Empire Blvd. in Webster, NY. The family would like to give a special thank you to the ICU at Highland Hospital.

Many didn't know Marti well. We were good friends. She wasn't just an engineer at PBS she produced documentaries and mentored many into profitable film careers. She had a great sense of humor and a brilliant mind. I miss her.
