Donna Harmor (Sellers)

Monument, CO:  April 5, 2024

A life well-lived, a heart well-loved, Donna Lorraine Harmor Sellers, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2024, in Monument, Colorado. Born on September 1st, 1953, in Rochester, New York, to Paul Harmor and Lorraine Stone Ross, Donna's life was a testament to her enduring kindness, creativity, and unwavering faith. Donna's journey took her from Pittsford, New York, to North Las Vegas, Nevada (where she raised her children), to Utah, Michigan, and finally to the beautiful landscapes of Monument, Colorado.

Donna's life was enriched by her deep love for her family. She is survived by her siblings, Morris Harmor, Wayne Harmor, and Beverly Lynne Harmor Merrill; her devoted children, Sherry Carter, Beverly Rodrigues, John Sellers Jr., Sarah Rockwood, Rachel Drumm, Rebecca Van Luvender, David Sellers, and Tracy Allen; and her cherished 31 grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. She joins in Heaven her father, Paul Harmor, mother Lorraine Stone Ross, mother-in-law Joyce Sellers, brother Steven Paul Harmor, and nephew Paul Steven Harmor.

Donna's passions were many, but none more so than her love for crafting, teaching, and her unshakeable faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Whether she was creating with her grandchildren, decorating for the holidays, or preparing lessons for her Primary class, Donna did so with a smile that could light up any room. Her creativity knew no bounds, and her home was a testament to her artistic spirit, filled with glitter, bling, and handcrafted beauty.

Described by those who knew her as selfless, loving, and perpetually positive, Donna's legacy is one of compassion and service. She lived a Christ-like life, always placing others before herself, and her impact on her family, friends, community, and church was profound.

There was a memorial service for Donna on April 15th, 2024, at the chapel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Monument, Colorado.

Donna once shared a scripture that encapsulated her approach to life, reflecting her dedication to faith, family, and service. 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:" Her family takes comfort in knowing she lived fully and loved deeply, leaving behind a legacy of joy and faith that will forever inspire those who knew her.

"Mom, you instilled in us the beauty of creativity, the power of prayer, the strength of faith, and the importance and value of kindness. Your memory will be a beacon of love and hope to us all. Until we meet again."

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at https://everloved.com/life-of/donna-lorraine-sellers/ to assist with funeral expenses or simply perform an act of kindness in her memory

Donna, my dear friend, my heart sank when I started searching for you again and found your obit, as we had connected a few years back when I found you on facebook. We chatted some for a couple of months and then you told me you were going to move and probably would not be back on facebook or the internet. We had so much fun in school. You were one of the sweetest persons I knew, great sense of humor and you were a great seamstress and friend. May you rest in peace.

I recall Donna Harmor from grade school; she was a delightful person, always ready with a smile. It's saddening that she is no longer with us, yet it seems she lived a full life. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
