Joan C. Klehamer of Pittsford passed away on May 1, 1983. She is survived by her father, Gordon Klehamer; and one brother, David of Penn Yan.
Memorial services were held at Christ Episcopal Church in Pittsford, NY. Interment at Pittsford Cemetery.

I remember Joan as being very kind and intelligent. We spent a week in Spain together with the 11th grade Spanish class and had a wonderful time.I admired her.She would of had alot to offer this world.

Joan was a friend of mine in elementary school. I remember trading sleep overs. At her house on the corner of Main and Route 96, we would play in the playroom in the attic. There was a time we watched our first grade teacher walk down the street from the bus stop, hidden behind the curtains as we were sure we would get in trouble, somehow, for watching her.
