John Codega

B.B.A University of Miami, MS Colorado State University, C.P.C.U., and C.I.C. (Insurance Designations). After undergrad spend 10 year is Rochester with Aetna Casualty and Surety, then off to Colorado for my after college break 10 years later. Taught skiing with Steamboat Ski Resort, and then finished Grad school at CSU. Off to Perth, Australia for a bit. Back to Rochester to work with U.S. F. & G and then with Harleysville Group out of Worcester Mass. Getting tired just thinking about it! Off to Phoenix for a few years, and then on to Denver, CO where I have been for 16 years or so. Just where I belong. Golf is great, can play generally 12 months a year, and some of the best skiing anywhere. Ski mostly Breckenridge, Keystone, and Vail. Forgot to get married, as I was skiing, playing golf, and fishing. Recently retired from insurance and working with special students with ski program and golf. I am sure there were some other activities I have been engaged in, but would have to think about it a bit.

Pittsford Central was lots of fun, and on occasion I did learn a few things. Have to think about what they were, as it escapes me right now. I enjoyed all the great folks in our class and have stayed in touch with only a few unfortunately.
A good story to tell.
Someone sent me the pics from the 20th Class Reunion without the names attached to pictures. I wrote back,
“Wow, our teachers look a lot older, a little different and many with less hair!!” My friend wrote me back saying, “John those aren’t the teachers from Sutherland, those are your classmates.” I guess we still see ourselves in our mind’s eye like were back in High School. Not a bad way to remember.
